A Moment Of Silence

How to find the blissful moments of doing absolutely nothing

Inspiration of the week

Have you ever been so busy that the minute you take some time to rest, you feel guilty about not doing the never-ending to-do list and then you panic and try to run to your nearest thing that needs completing. Well, I am here to tell you that not everything needs to be done right away and it’s time to start seizing the moments of doing absolutely nothing and not feeling guilty about it.

This week If you have a moment to yourself, just embrace the moment and that means doing absolutely nothing until it feels right to move forward. Don’t let your thoughts interrupt you with the feeling of guilt, see your thoughts like clouds moving along and before you know it, those feelings are gone.

Set Your Morning Intention

How to set your morning intention to your advantage!

Inspiration of the week

Your morning routine shapes the rest of your day. When you wake up with the dreaded feeling of going to work, university or an appointment, your day just inevitably gets worst by the minute. However, if you shift your mindset to a positive one, by rewiring your thoughts and doing something that brings you joy in the morning, the outcome is so much better. My favourite and easiest way to get into a high vibe state is by listening to music that makes me feel good. A bit of Beyonce in the morning always makes me feel on top of the world 🙂

This week I want you to find what brings you joy and use it in your morning routine to set your intention for the day.

Take A Break

Inspiration station

Inspiration of the week

Life is a continuous loop without a pause button. Scrambling to find a moment of peace where we are truly not doing anything, is harder to find than a needle in a haystack.
We need to find that button and hit pause immediately until we feel mindful to continue the loop again.
Taking a break can do wonders on our mental and physical health- If we just take some time out and not give our attention to outside work and focus on our wellbeing, we will begin to see the positive effect of peace.

This week is a moment to give yourself a break. Take off a morning or evening and let the mind decide what you want to do, go with the flow and see what you’re drawn too.

Do You Take Your Own Advice

Do you take your own advice? Find out why you should listen to yourself more.

Inspiration station

Inspiration of the week

All the knowledge and advice we need to hear is already inside us, we already know what the next step is but we seek comfort in asking others just to clarify what we already know. When giving out advice we show empathy, love and support but rarely give the same to ourselves.

You know what you need to do, you already possess all the answers. Being too scared to confront your answers; results in you repeating the cycle.

Remember, when you are giving out advice, perhaps listen closely to the words you speak. You might need hear them too.

Quote of the week:  ”Listen to yourself more. You know more than you think”-Lia

Stand Tall Like A Flower

Inspiration Of The Week

When a flower is healthy it radiates, stands tall and glows from every angle. When it hasn’t been watered or looked after it starts to wilt and shrink. The same thing applies to our mind and body. This is more common when we are stressed or going through a stressful time, we tend to not look after ourselves and start to wilt and shrink metaphorically.

This weeks inspiration is to remember whenever you are going through a stressful time, you need to indulge in a bit of TLC to rejuvenate yourselves so you can stand tall and radiate like a flower.

Quote of the week: Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes, including you.” – Anne Lamott

Feelings Are Temporary

Learning to understand that your thoughts are temporary.

Inspiration Advice

According to research by Neuro-Imaging it is reported, the average person has roughly 70,000 or more thoughts in a day and up to 80% are negative. Many of our negative thoughts are repeated thoughts we have engrained in our mind daily. When we choose to hold on to those thought, we release an emotion that either makes or breaks our day. The longer we hold on to that thought the more damage it does to us.
Feelings are like visitors, you can choose when you want them to leave; simply by not engaging in the thought and watching it pass by.

Remember feelings are never permanent and this will pass. Be patient. After all, a masterpiece isn’t curated in one night 🙂

Quote of the week: You are not your thoughts

Inspiration Advice

Inspiration of the week

Life is all about taking good risks. What I mean are the risks that elevate you as a person, the risks that propel you from moving out of the comfort zone, the type that you have no clue what’s going on but you know it’s for your highest good.

Every action you take leads you to something better, taking that leap of faith will be your biggest reward. Jump and never look back because your future awaits you with open arms.

This week I want you to take that risk and jump into something you’ve been talking yourself out of. Every small step you take leads you to your new adventure.

The Grounded Tree?-What Does It Represent?

What does the grounded tree represent. Find out in the latest

Inspiration Advice

Inspiration of the week

A lot of people whether online or in real life always ask me the meaning behind the name the grounded tree. It’s quite a unique name and I feel like I should tell the world, the meaning behind it.
The Grounded Tree represents you as a whole; you are the tree. The trunk represents your solid body, you are planted and grounded on both feet. The branches represent all the things that make you, you. Your personality, habits, and knowledge are all within you. The leaves are the added bonuses you’ve learned over a continuum and when the leaves drop off, it’s you evolving from the old ways, that no longer serve you. You are enhancing every day, every hour and every minute. You are owning your full truth!

Now you know the meaning behind the name, I want you this week to remain proud, tall and strong, just like a tree 🙂

Quote of the week: “Look around you. Everything changes. everything on this earth is in a continuous state of evolving, refining, improving, adapting, enhancing, and changing. You were not put on this earth to remain stagnant.” -Dr. Steve Mataboli
